I am interested in maize centromere size. My research is focus on centromere size and its impacts on haploid induction in maize. I am trying to figure out the affect of varying genome size on centromere size and likelihood to form haploids. By manipulating CENH3 to modulate centromere size I want to induce haploid in maize.
