The Plant Biology Graduate Student Association (PBGSA) sponsored the "Future Plant Scientist" award at the 2016 Georgia Science and Engineering Fair in Athens. Graduate students judged middle and high school student science fair projects from across the state. Adam Brantley, from Oconee County Middle School, was this year's winner for his project, "Which Plants Do Arthropods Prefer, Native or Exotic?"
