Basic Information

Personal Website:

I am interested in ecological and evolutionary factors that shape patterns of genetic variation in natural populations. The current focus of my research is on two species of the genus Asimina. I use microsatellite analysis along with chloroplast sequencing to understand how species-wide genetic diversity is partitioned within and among populations, in addition to quantifying gene flow via pollen versus seed dispersal.
