Image: Rebecca (Shirk) Kartzinel, who earned her PhD under the mentorship of Jim Hamrick, accepted a position as Assistant Professor (Research) in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Brown University. After finishing at UGA, she did a post-doc with Tom Givnish at the University of Wisconsin and then went to Princeton to work with Bridgett von Holdt. Congrats on your new position at Brown, Becky!
