We are proud to share that Professor Michelle Momany was elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology! This is a well-deserved honor for a highly valued University of Georgia and Department of Plant Biology colleague. According to the American Academy of Microbiology, fellows are selected via, “...a highly selective, peer-review process, based on their records of scientific achievement and original contributions that have advanced microbiology.” Congratulations Dr. Momany!
