The flyer for the scholarship

We are excited to share a new scholarship opportunity for Plant Biology students: the Michael O. Moore Scholarship in Plant Biology. This scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Michael O. Moore (1957 -1999) who served as Curator of the Georgia Herbarium from 1990-1999. All undergraduates in UGA Plant Biology are welcome to apply.

This $1,000 scholarship is intended to recognize outstanding students in Plant Biology, with preference given to those who demonstrate a passion for plant diversity, particularly Georgia’s native plants such as azaleas. The awardee will receive a credit to their student account, a certificate recognizing their achievement, and be highlighted on the UGA Plant Biology website.

To apply, please email the following documents in a single pdf to dorset@uga.edu by Friday, March 1st
