Burke Lab on the Road

Earlier this month, members of the Burke lab traveled to Memphis, TN for a meeting with collaborators from the University of Memphis and Auburn University. Together, they are investigating the evolutionary origin of the distinctive flowering “head” (capitulum inflorescence) that characterizes all 32,000+ species within the sunflower family (Asteraceae).
