Bill Ricci (from Kelly Dawe's lab) received the Wilbur Duncan Award for 2019. This award is the highest recognition awarded to students in Plant Biology and it recognizes a PBIO graduate student's excellence in two of three areas: research, teaching and service to the department. 

Margot Popecki is one of two recipients of the 2019 Joshua Laerm Academic Support Award for Graduate Students! Margot conducts her doctoral research under the direction of Dr. Kathrin Stanger-Hall, Department of Plant Biology, and Dr. John Wares, Department of Genetics.
