A project to decode the genome of aspen trees has revealed a new wrinkle in how chromosomes are constructed—and it may have larger evolutionary implications, according to researchers in the Tsai lab at the University of Georgia.

Undergraduate students from two Department of Plant Biology lab courses have recently co-authored a scientific paper with Dr. Wolfgang Lukowitz, an associate professor of plant biology.

We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Russell Malmberg Memorial Scholarship in Plant Biology. This scholarship fund, which will provide support to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Plant Biology, stands as a testament to Dr.

The University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Plant Synthetic Biology or Bioengineering, beginning August 1st, 2024, at the level of Assistant Professor.

Greetings, plant enthusiasts! It's time to don your lab coats and rejoin the world of plant biology.
